Hi All!!

So I don't have an awful lot to report tbh, but I am sticking to my resolution to update this regularly! So since I last blogged I have made fudge...recipe to follow in a future post...I have gone back to uni, Monday was my first day back and consisted of a 9am - 7pm day, which actually wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. I started a new module (a Shakespeare one), and it is lovely! My teacher is great, and it is such a nice change from reading about the law! I have also been contemplating entering this years Great British Bake Off, though I am not 100% sure yet, I will keep the blogging world updated on that front! Anyway, I have to dry my hair, as I am heading over to Westminster later to have drinks with a friend, who is off to Syria for 6 weeks on Sunday!

2011...

Hi everyone!

So we are a few days into 2011, and so far it is going quite well! Here is a quick round up of my year so far:

- On NYE, 15 minutes into 2011, I won a bottle of Prosecco in a raffle at the bar downstairs
- I woke up on new years day to an email saying 'happy birthday from Geronimo pubs! If you and three of your friends come to us for dinner you can have a free bottle of Prosecco'! Bargain...especially since my birthday isnt till August!!
- I got gig tickets to see The Bravery in February for £2.75! (I had a voucher for Orange Rock Corps to use and I was just left with half of the P&P to pay! This pleased me on a number of levels: bargain, I didnt think I'd be able to get more than one ticket with the voucher (I got 2), and I thought it had run out on December 31st!


Other than all of that I have been sticking to my exercise regime, though today I woke up and could barely walk! If I sit for too long I still can't :P! I have also managed to get a few days work with uni which is pretty nifty! The one thing that is making me a bit :( is the fact that I haven't had a holiday in what seems like FOREVER! Everytime I see this incredibly gorgeous advert it makes me long for balmy champagne filled evenings by the Seine! Here's hoping I get to Paris some time this year!!
